Once Time Again!
We have been anxiously monitored the weather for a couple weeks. A bit more than a week ago, it was forecast to drop to middle 30's. Somehow we bet it would not. Luck enough, it was 10 degree higher than it was forecast. Once again we see the forecast to be around low 30's for several days. We just do not think that we can take a chance this time.
We have been working hard for many weekends to have the garage converted into green house. This warning appears to leave no choice but completion. We just have to move all the plants into somewhere indoor. I work all day to have plants moved and cleaned. Sammy tried to have some last touches in the green house. He built a great shelves for small plants by reusing old parts in the garage.
Yes, we did have the green house done -sort of. We will add work counter and cabinets next years. Other than that, it is complete. It is fabulous but we are just too tired to enjoy the result. I am posting some of pictures for now.

Happy Birthday, Sammy!
I can not remember when I did my last post. It seems a while ago. Well, we are just catching up time before the winter and have our dream green house done. So far the weather just can not be better and cooperative except the first couple of weekends when we started the project. Well, we are close to complete. It is summer blue and pomegranate red accent. Well I will post some pictures when it is complete. It is a simply beautiful space for my plant orphanage plus work studio. Can not wait to have a dinner party in a cold, snowing winter night?
I will make Danish Meatball tomorrow. I just read the current issue of Elle Decor and this dish sounds very yummy. I will give a try for Sammy's birthday. Now we have a nice KitchenAid Mixer for Sammy's Birthday and wish that I know how to make a desert. I might try.
Happy Birthday Mister!

Shenandoah In My mind
The very first time when I heard the word "Shenandoah" is when we moved to our old hood in Atlanta. It is called Shenandoah Valley. I was told that this name comes from Shenandoah National Park in VA. Well I finally got a chance to visit. We initially planned to do backpacking for three days. However Sammy was caught into a work deadline and had to work for Saturday and Sunday. So We really had one day for hiking after a long drive. Instead we stayed in Big Meadows Inn and did a day hiking. It really is a lot of driving for that one day hike. But it was worth when driving along Skyland drive and wonder in front of Big Meadows. I hope that one day we are able to come across Shenandoah again when we can hike through Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. Well it is a pipe dream for now.
I just admire that massiveness of natural lady ferns. It gives me a clue for the landscape of our mountain lodge. Ferns will be all it takes for that. Rustic Mountain lodge simply surrounded by fine lady ferns. It is in the pipe but I am dreaming it now.
